FAX gallery's curatorial programme is conceived as a circular structure rather than a sequence of disconnected exhibitions. Each annual cycle is built around a central line of enquiry, with every exhibition developing from the questions raised by the one before it and contributing to a wider conversation across the programme.

This approach continues beyond the exhibitions themselves. FAX develops talks, scent, taste, performance, sound and other live formats around each theme, creating different ways for audiences to encounter the same curatorial idea and form their own associations.
